Corner Protectors Review

My 11 month old daughter is officially on the move! She is a crawling professional and is picking herself up on anything and everything. As most parents know that means, bring on the bumps and bruises. This also means that baby proofing is in full effect. The corners of furniture are always a hazard when it comes to children, even at older ages, which I can attest to with a 5 year old who still hurts himself on furniture. So I guess I was also kid proofing! Even when I was a child, around 8 or so, I fell and hit my head on the corner of our entertainment center and ended up in the ER with quite a few stiches. Hence, corner protectors are important!

These specific corner protectors are just “ok.”  They are super cute looking and I love the glow in the dark spots on them. Also, they are very easy to apply. The pack also comes with two door stops so fingers don’t get slammed in the door. The door stops are great, they serve their purpose. However, I have found a few faults in the corner protectors. First off, they are pretty thin. If one of my kids did fall on them, it might slightly cushion their fall, but they would still get hurt pretty bad. Second, the adhesive is not very strong. It stuck on easily, but within a few days my daughter was able to rip them off. So, although these corner protectors were stylish and appealing to the kids, I have had better ones that also look nice, but are much thicker, therefore a better cushion for a fall.
